BANGKOK QUIET
SITUATION BACK TO NORMAL (Rec. 10.40.) BANGKOK, Feb. 28. A Government communique to-aay claimed that the situation in Bangkok has “speedily been restored to noimal” after the week-end clash between the army and navy groups. However, troops have been ordereci to stand by for action in case of emeigency. . . . Bangkok has remained peaceful in the last 24 hours, though two minor gun battles were reported. The participants in these incidents have n been identified. Police and military patrols have sealed of? important Government o - fices and strategic zones. An unconfirmed report says tnai four civilians died and several were wounded in the week-end shooting atfray.
