NO PROSECUTION OF FARRELL SYDNEY, Jan. 7. The Attorney-General announced today that the Crown will not proceed with the conspiracy charge ‘ against Edward Farrell, aged GO, a. mining engineer. • Three others—John Smith Garden, Harcourt Garden and Raymond Parer were a quitted last month on a conspiracy charge relating to alleged timber leases in New Guinea.

Farrell had been charged with the other three, but his charge was not proceeded with because of illness.
