The evening before he left London, Mr Fraser -was the guest of honour at a traditional Scottish farewell given by Sir Alexander and Lady MacKenzie Livingstone at their home in north-west London.

Sir Alexander, like Mr Fraser, is a native, of Ross-shire, and when he visited New Zealand with Lady Livingstone last year he was given a similar farewell by Mr Fraser at his home in Wellington. Mr Fraser expects to arrive back in New Zealand toward the end of January.
