BLIZZARDS IN AMERICA
BODIES RECOVERED FROM SNOWDRIFTS NEW YORK, January 6. At least 15 people have died in ’X blizzards which swept the western United States in the last three days. Rescue workers to-day dug 15 bodies from the slowdrifts. Most had been frozen to death in trucks, roadside huts, and cars buried in the snow. -- --- In Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming, and South Dakota the authorities fear the searches will reveal an even higher deathroll.
