"VTOTICE is hereby given to the operators of H-plate motor vehicles (excepting farmers and local bodies) that it is now illegal to operate an H-plate motor vehicle without a Certificate of Fitness as issued by the Commissioner of Transport.

Information regarding the issue of Certificates of Fitness may be obtained from any Traffic Officer of the Transport Department or from the Department’s District Officers located at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.
