REVENUE RETURNS
Ashburton Electric Power REPORT TO BOARD Revenue returns of the Ash burton Electric-Power Board for Hie eight months ended November, 1948,' all showed a substantial increase over the figures tor the corresponding period last year. Last month, returns of revenue for domestic, commercial, power and sundries, totalled £BOBS 5s 9d, compared with £7315 10s 6d for November of 1947, an increase of £769 15s 3d. Details of revenue returns for the eight-month period were shown in the financial statement as follow,, totals for last year being in parentheses:— Domestic £40,569 10s 9d (£38,797 15. s 7d), commercial £9889 12s 6d (£9103 15s sd). power £10,380 Ss (£9731' 13s 2d), sundries £397 14s lid (£383 6s public lighting £1022 4s (£912 14s 6d). Aggregate return for the period was £62,259 10s 4d, compared with £56,929 os Id last year, an increase of £5380 5s 3d.
