TINWALD CLUB

30-MILE CHAMPIONSHIP RIDE The Tinwald Cycling Club will hold its championship* event for club members on Saturday over a course ot 30 miles. Riders will make five circuits of the Wakanui block, starting from the corner of Chalmers Avenue and Beach Road, at 2 p.m. The Kirdy Memorial Cup will he presented to the winner, and a blue riband to the rider securing fastest time. Two previous winners of this race in A. McKenzie and R. Brunton will face the starter on Saturday, together with T. Wadsworth, of Timaru, who has returned fastest time on the last two occasions.
