BRITAIN ASKS RUSSIA FOR GRAIN
TRADE TALKS IN LONDON ’ . r LONDON, December. 7. Reuter says that Britain is asking Russia for 2,000,000 tons of grain in the trade negotiations now going on between British and Soviet Government representatives in London. A large, part would be coarse grain, but there will be some Avheat. Russia supplied Britain with 750,000 tons of coarse grain under the commercial agreement signed last December. . . Informed quarters say that Britain could take, from 5,000,000 to 10,000,000 tons of grain- from Russia within the next four years if a satisfactory agreement Avere Concluded.
