MANY NEW DESTROYERS (Rec. 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 8. Mr J. Dugdale, Financial Secretary to the Admiralty, told the House of Commons that Britain had disposed of 98 destroyers since V-J Day either by scrapping; sale or loan to foreign Powers, but 39 destroyers, infinitely better than those scrapped had joined the fleet in the same period.
