District Sales Total £835 WELL ABOVE QUOTA Sales of' health stamps, in the Ashburton Postal District, haye now reached the excellent total of £835 2s 7d, of which over £717 worth was disposed of at the town Post Office. Members of the Plunket Society were on duty in the vestibule there on Friday, and did good business. The town office total of £717 16 s 9d is well above the quota of £628 set, but there is still approximately £3O in stamps available of the original allocation of £750 accepted. Sales at the different Post Offices in the district, up to to-day, were as follow: Ashburton £717 16s 9d, Chertsey £1 Is 3d, Hinds £25, Mayfield £3l 10s, Methven £SO 16s, Mount Somers £1 10s 4d, Rakaia £7l 10s sd, Springbufn £3 6s 3d, Tinwald £1 Bs.
