ELECTION IN PROGRESS i (Rec. 12.10 p.m.) PARIS, April 4. Seven persons were killed and others injured 'in rioting in Algiers as the country voted to elect its first Parliament, says a Reuter message. Troops were called out to restore order. De Gaullists have won only two seats so far. Under 1 the new statute for the territory, Algeria will have a Parliament of 120 members, half eleetpd by French residents and the other half by Moslems. The new Parliament will not be independent. It can consider j only its own Budget and the adaptation of French laws to local conditions.
