APPLE CROP
STORM DAMAGE NOT GREAT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Damage to the apple crop in Motuoka, Nelson and Mapua districts as the result of the stprm on Saturday, although widespread, is not serious enough to affect materially the export quota for the area of about 000,000 cases. This was stated by Mr J. TI. Brunt, manager of the Nelson branch of the N.Z. Fruitgrowers’ Federation. Tie said the crop, should yield more than 1,000,000 cases of good fruit.
