SECURITY MEASURES TAKEN

(Rec. 11.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. special security check on all staff engaged for the rocket range project in South Australia has been instituted it is understood, after conferences between the British and Australian authorities.

Evidence of Communist interest in the project was gathered some time ago, soon after the initial construction work was begun. Known Communist sympathisers were found working as prospectors around the area of the rangehead construction works.
