WASHINGTON, Nov. 12 • Canadian and American air strategists conferred to-day on a long-range programme for the defence of the North American Continent against trans-Polar air attack. The Canadian delegation Avas led by Air-Marshal P. A. Curtis, Chief of Staff of the R.C.A.F., Avhile the American experts were headed by General Carl Spaatz, Chief of Staff of the TJnitefl States Army Air Force, who lias repeatedly stated that American and Canadian cities are wide open to attack across the ice cap.
