TOWN PLANNING
Tentative Proposals for Ashburton SCHEME TO BE CONSIDERED A comprehensive long-range plan' for the business area of Ashburton and a civic and community centre for the town is contained in tentative proposals received in Ashburton from the Town Planning Department. The plan, which it is emphasised is of a purely tentative nature, will,'it is hoped, shortly be given close consideration by the Joint Planning Committee of the Ashburton Borough Council and the Ashburton Community Centre Committee. Ultimately the plan will be received by the Ashburton Borough Council.
