SHANGHAI, September 13.

A 19-day search failed to recover 445 cases of Chinese 10,000-dollar notes which the crew said they hac jettisoned to save a Chinese National Relief and Rehabilitation plane from crashing into the mountains on August. 25 on a flight from Canton to Peishiyi. It is thought that thieves made off with the notes, which are worth 960,000 United States dollars. Five other cases jettisoned were recovered.
