KOREAN REFUGEES

THOUSANDS MOVING DAILY (Rec. 11.30) WASHINGTON, July 27. Thousands of refugees are crossing the border daily from Soviet-occupied North Korea to American-occupied South Korea, according to a report from General MacArthur, released today. * The report, which covers military government activities in Korea during April, said that 3000 entered South Korea dailv through one border town alone. It added that 72,000 were living in unsuitable quarters in refugee camps in South Korea, and an additional 415,000 in inadequate housing outside the camps.
