MAN SHOT IN MELBOURNE (Rec. 12.45) MELBOURNE, This Day. Gang warfare continues in Melbourne. Late yesterday an attempt was made to murder Keith Kitchener Hull (30), who in 1945, was acquitted in Sydney of having- murdered a man known as “Donald Duck.” v Hull -was shot in the chest and wrist while in a parked truck in a Melbourne lane. His condition is not serious. He refuses to give the police any information. The shooting, of which Hull was acquitted, occurred when another man allegedly entered Hull’s bedroom and pointed a revolver at him.
