LIVING TORCHES
OIL REFINERY EXPLOSION (Rec. 10.0 a.m.) * PARIS, July IS. An explosion in the great Franco-Coloniale oil refineries at Bordeaux hurled living torches into the courtyard of the works. Of 19 workers seriously burned, five are expected 'to die. Twenty others were slightly injured. The explosion ignited over 20,000 gallons of petrol and the flames did £■250,000 worth of damage before firemen, after three hours, controlled them.
