Title Forecast for Lieut. Mountbatten LONDON, July 17. Lieutenant Mountbatten is to-be made Duke of Edinburgh and given the title of His Royal Highness, according to the “Daily Express,” which says that an announcement will be made from Buckingham Palace on the eve of the wedding. The newspaper says that Princess Elizabeth will retain her own name and will be called Princess Elizabeth, Duchess of Edinburgh. The Royal dukedom mf Edinburgh became extinct in 1900.
