PRICE OF PEAS
SUBJECT OF CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON Of considerable interest to , growers of peas* and merchants alike will be the announcement that a conference is to be held at Wellington on Tuesday, April 29, concerning the price of I lie commodity and marketing arrangements. Tim meeting will be attended by representatives of Federated Farmers, merchants and of the Government. \ This advice was received from Dominion Headquarters of Federated Farmers by the Mid-Canterbury Provincial Executive at its meeting yesterday. A representative of the Mid-Canter-bury Executive will attend this conference. ' Presiding was the vice-resident, Mr A. D. McLauchlan.
