WOOL SALE
LONDON VALUES MAINTAINED (Rec. 11.46 a.m.) LONDON, April IS. Wool submitted at'to-day’s London sale totalled 14,793 bales, of which 14,231 were sold. The catalogue included 5565 bales from New Zealand and 7314 from Australia. Competition was sustained and prices were well maintained. The Home trade was the chief buyer, hut Continental operators were more in evidence, especially for better sorts. The sales will he continued next week, when a total of 35,700 hales will he offered, comprising 10,522 from New Zealand, 19,11(5 from Australia, 4G21 from South Africa and 941 from South America.
