ENTRIES FOR COMPETITIONS While entries for the Ashburton Rugby Union’s 1947 competitions officially close to-day, the secretary (Mr G. V. Furby) said this morning that he did not expect all entries to be in until Monday. Mr Furby indicated that so far Methven had entered four teams, Technical Old Boys four, Old Boys three, Mayfield a junior and third grade and Hinds a junior.
