Engine Room Artificers may also qualify for an additional allowance of 1/- or 2/- per diem. MARRIED PERSONNEL WILL NORMALLY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A MARRIAGE ALLOWANCE OF THREE SHILLINGS PER DIEM PLUS UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS A SEPARATION ALLOWANCE OF THREE SHILLINGS PER DIEM. . All ratings will be paid a Uniform Allowance to assist in the maintenance of uniform.
