FINES IN ASHBURTON, COURT Fines for traffic offences were imposed by Mr G. G. Chisholm, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Ashburton tliis morning, in the following cases: Failed to give way to traffic from the right: George Gale (Mr L. A. Charles) £1 10s and Costs 10s. Driving Avithout due care and attention: Henry Frederick McCully £2 and costs 10s.
No warrant of fitness: Charles Franklyu Marsden £1 and costs 10s. Exceeding speed limit: William James BoAvman (Mr V. W. Russell) £1 and costs 10s; George lan Henderson 10s and costs 12s; Henry Frederick McCully £2 and costs 10s.
