“CEASE-FIRE” BROKEN
(Rec. 11 a.m.) BATAVIA, Dec. 12. A Netherlands military spokesman said that Dutch troops clearing the area around Macassar where martial law has been proclaimed killed 22 Indonesian gang-leaders. Indonesian irregulars in Sumatra broke the recent “cease fire” agreement by re-occupying positions south-east of ~Medk. They are still firing on Dutch ‘patrols.
