POLICE NET CLOSING

(Rec. 12.30) BRISBANE, This Day. The police search for three dangerous criminals who scaled the walls of Boggo Road gaol yesterday now extends from 50 miles north of Brisbane to the New South Wales border.

The police, who have traced the men to the vicinity of Nundah, have drawn a cordon tightly round an area of scrubland, and are closing in. The men were seen together last night in the vicinity, and are 'believed to have driven to Nundah in a taxi. Householders are keeping their doors barred,.and those in the northern suburbs of Brisbane near the suspected area have been warned to stay on the alert.
