TO OVERCOME POULTRY FOOD . SHORTAGE That the introduction of a standard poultry mash was virtually an arrangement between the Government and the New Zealand Poultry Board to overcome the shortage of wheat and poultry foods and not a purely Government measure, was explained to the Ashburton branch of the Can-terbury-Westland Registered Poultry keepers’ Association (Incorporated) last evening by delegates from the Christchurch branch. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr J. Turner; committee, Messrs'N. Khox, G. H. Nicoll, O. Morriss, Miss Maxwell, Mrs Shea, Messrs Bostock, Streeter and E. MarchanL Mr Knox was appointed delegate to the provincial council in Christchurch. The committee has power to add to its number.
