MERINO WOOL 'REACHES 12UD (Rec. 12.30) MELBOURNE, This Day. A new Australian wool price record has been established by the sale of one hale of greasy superfine Merino at 1211 a pound. The previous record was 99!d. The wool was submitted by Mr H. O. Schulz, of Grassdale, Cavendish. In addition to the record bale, another bale of Mr Schulz’s wool brought 120!d. Eleven bales, brought 112|d and kix bales brought llHd. >' It - w r as all superfine Merino. . The average price for Mr Schulz’s clip of S 5 hales was 56.72 d. American interests paid the record price.
