REFERENDUM URGED (Rec. 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 5. Walter Ulbriclit, an executive member of the Soviet-inspired Socialist Unity Party, called for a nationwide referendum “for the restoration of unity in Germany and against Federalism” says Reuter’s Hamburg correspondent. ' Ulbficht, in a speech in the Saxony Parliament, called the Anglo-Ameri-can merger agreement an attempt to tear Germany asunder. He added that Germany should be a single unit as provided by the Allies at Potsdam.
