ASHBURTON PROSECUTIONS Traffic offenders were dealt with by Mr G. G. Chisholm, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Ashburton this morning, and 11 charges, including five of speeding,- were heard. Driving lorry without due care and attention: Norman William Durham, £1 10s and costs 12s. No warrant of fitness: Burnett’s Motors Ltd. (Mr V. W. Russell), 10s and costs 10s; James W. Norton (two charges), 10s and os, with costs IQs in each case; John Alistair Sinclair Thomson (motor cyclist), 10s and costs 12s. Failure to -carry a vehicle authority: Burnett’s Motors Ltd. (Mr Russell), 10s and costs 10s.
