Death of British Dramatist— The death has occurred in Paris of the (British author and playwright, Mr H. G. Granville-Barker, a former director of the British Institute of the University of Paris, and the author of a number of novels and plays. He also was a well-known translator. Mr Gran-ville-Barker produced many English versions of well-known Spanish plaj s, and wrote several prefaces to the plays of Shakespeare. He was a frequent visitor to the United States and ’had been visiting professor at both Ya.le and Harvard. He was ah honorary D.Litt. of Oxford.
