DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS IN SUPREME COURT

(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 23. _ “The real bone of contention in this case is the ownership of the horse Bronze Eagle,” stated his Honour Mr Justice Blair, in the Supreme Court to-day, when giving his reserved decision in a petition made by Aubrey Clifford Tasker for a divorce from bis AVife, Marguerite Alice Tasker, on the ground of a separation order. Holding that Mrs Tasker had not established that the separation Avas brought about by wrongful misconduct of her husband, his Honour issued a decree absolute in favour of the petitioner, Avitli costs for the respondent.

Mrs Tasker, sgid hist Honour, obtained a substantial source of income from Bronze Eagle, which Avas a virtual “goldmine,” hut she “still went ahead for 30s a week maintenance.”
