AMMUNITION EXPLODES
AMERICANS DRIVEN FROM HOMES (Rec. 11.45) FRANKFURT, Aug.. 23. More than 50 American families were driven from their homes in Bremerhaven as the result of an explosion of 150 tons of German ammunition. No casualties have been reported. The blast demolished three adjacent buildings and shook the entire city.
