Increase in Newsprint An increase in newsprint on September 22 is announced. No figures are given but it is officially stated that it will he used to enable a small increase in the number of pages and partly to permit sales, to be adjusted so that the public will be able to buy the paper of its choice, states a London message. Newspapers will be permitted for a period to print as many copies as the trade requires to meet the public demand. The public will be asked to 'notify change or addition to their orders before September 22. Sports papers and sports editions are excluded from the increase in pages, but will have the benefit of unrestricted sale for a period.
