FOUND GOOD JOB
NEW ZEALAND STOWAWAY (Rec. 12.35) SYDNEY, This Day. The New Zealand stowaway, David Reece (17) who was released after the Commonwealth Customs and New Zealand Government officials had satisfied themselves' as to his identity, has secured a job worth £lO a week with a new British company registered in Melbourne. \ A New Zealand official found Reece the job through the Commonwealth employment service, and sent him back to the ship, instructing him to return. Reece did not do so, and later a businessman informed the officials that Reece wasl on his payroll.
