LATEST SYDNEY INCIDENTS YOUTHS ARRESTED FOR ROBBERY (Rec. 1.15) SYDNEY, This, Day. The police yesterday surrounded a residence in the Sydney suburb of Camperdown and arrested two youths on a charge of steal- • ing £1327. A robbery occurred at Stanmore Home on Saturday night' 14 hours befote the arrests. Banknotes totalling £1077 10s and war savings' certificates were stolen. The police believe the thieves entered the house by a bathroom, window, took the key of the safe from a sideboard drawer and removed the money and certificates and a revolver. The certificates and most of the money have been recovered. A 13-year-old boy fell from the footboard of a stationary tram near Bronte with a long-bladed knife protruding from his side: The police were told that youths were skylarking on the footboard before the incident occurred. The condition of the boy is serious. An arrest has. been made. ' These are the two latest incidents in the wave of crime which is sweeping Sydney, and in which juveniles are implicated.
