ARMISTICE WITH ITALY RESTRICTIVE CLAUSES REMOVED (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright.),' (Rec. 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, June 2. The text of the revised armistice with Italy, recently drawn up in Paris, was communicated yesterday to Signor de Gasperi by the head of the Allied Commissiori, Admiral Stone, on behalf of the Supreme Allied Commander in the Mediterranean, General Morgan, says the Rome correspondent of “The Times.” The new document is to be signed as soon as two supplementary agreements with Britain and America are completed concerning the requirements, of British and American forces remaining in Italy in connection with the occupation of Venezi Agiulia. The diplomatic correspondent of “The Times” says the new terms remove all the first armistice Restrictive clauses. Military government Is continuing only in Venezi Agiulia. Italy, under a separate agreement for the payment of Allied troops, is expected to be credited with the value of all currency and supplies furnished to British troops. The sterling equivalent of it will be set against Italy’s debt in respect of supplies valued at £23,000,000 which Britain has delivered since the armistice for the relief of Italians -
