COMPLETE SELF-SUFFICIENCY (Rec. 11.30) NEW DELHI, May 30. The Indian Government has decided to establish an aircraft industry with a target of complete self-sufficiency in 20 years. Production is starting at Bangalore, where the first trainer plane for the Royal Indian Air Force is expected to come off the production lines within 18 months.
