FILIBUSTERING TACTICS
MOSCOW CHARGES UNO DELEGATES . (Rec. 9.30 a.m.) MOSCOW, May 26. “Pravda’s” international commentator charged the British and American delegates with introducing American filibustering tactics into the Security Council, “The conduct of some of the members- is seriously undermining the foundations, of the United Nations.” The British and Americans who defended the council decision to keep the Persian question on the agenda, showed complete disrespect for Ghavam Sultaneh’s statement.
Pishevari (Premier of Azerbaijan) said he and the “democratic people of Persia” regarded the Security Council’s retention of the Persian .question on the agenda as “foreign meddling in strictly internal affairs,” reports the Tabriz correspondent of the Associated Press. Pishevari added: “There is a very minimum of difference between us and the Central Government. Already we plan to resume negotiations with the delegation which has advised that it is coming from Teheran. I am confident of a peaceful settlement.”
