FATAL ACCIDENT

MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED (P.A.) GTS BORNE, This Day. A motor-cyclist was killed instantly at 5.25 a.m. 10-dav when his machine struck the rear of a lorry which had just turned out of a. gateway. The victim was Murray Edward Ashton (22). a butcher’s shop hand, of Gisborne. Both the motor-cycle and the truck were fully lighted. Ashton was proceeding to work at the Kaiti freezing works when the accident occurred.
