Spy Suspect Arrested —The Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (Mr J. Edgar Hoover) announced the apprehension of Lieutenant Nicolai Gregorovicli Redin, aged 29, on espionage charges at Portland, Oregon, as he was about to board a Soviet ship in Portland Harbour. The F. 8.1. said Redin, who is a graduate of the Soviet Naval Academy, lias been under intensive F. 8.1. scrutiny for several months.
