SENT TO PRISON
WOMAN BROADCASTED FOR GERMANS (Rec. 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, Mar. 27. Margaret Francis Bothamley (67), was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment after pleading guilty to entering the German broadcasting service. The prosecutor said that while broadcasting for the Germans she openly displayed pictures of the King and Queen in her room. She obviously was obsessed with anti-Russian views.
