Comedian Faces Divorce.—Mrs Laurel, alleging cruelty, is suing the Hollywood film comedian, Stan Laurel, for divorce in the California courts, requesting 300 dollars a week as. alimony and the division of communal property valued at 200,000 dollars. The Laurels were previously divorced in 1938, and remarried in 1941, after the actor’s divorce from his subsequent wife.
