The Syrian and Lebanese delegates will protest to the General Assembly of the Lnitecl Nations in London against the Anglo-French agreement to withdraw troops from the Levant in stages, says Reuter’s Damascus correspondent. The Syrian Parliament wound up its debate on the agreement with a unanimous vote first to protest to the Security Commission of the United Nations, second to invite the Arab League urgently to intervene, as the agreement wa's considered likely to be prejudicial to the general interest in the Middle' East and third to request the Syrian Government to take all steps necessary to face w T hat might be a threat to the country.
