CONTROL IN INDOCHINA
END OF JAPANESE FORCES (Rec. 1.30 p.m.) SAIGON, Dec. 21. • Captain T. I. Beil, of the Royal Navy, accepted the surrender of ViceAdmiral Kondo, thus completing the handing over of all Japanese forces in Indo-China.
The British authorities will soon relinquish navy control, which will be taken over by the French navy.
