OPERATIONS BEING WATCHED (Rec. 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 4. The activities of the Christian Reform League which, “under the guise of religion, seeks to make a. cult of Hitler and the forces of evil which the United Nations recently overcame,” would be carefully watched, said the Hofne Secretary, Mr Chuter Ede, in the House of Commons, in reply to a question. “I entirely share the feelings of revulsion against this movement,” said Mr Ede. “I have no power to interfere merely because it is unpopular or ridiculous while its advocates commit ho breach of the law.”

The league is reported to regard Hitler as a Divine instrument to break the power of Mammon. It. lias its headquarters at Kingdom House, in Surrey, where a number of members, some of whom are ex-detainees under the Defence Regulations, live in seclusion.
