ST. JAMES THEATRE The St. James Theatre was packed out twice on Saturday for tlje first showingsi of the beautiful Technicolour racing Romance, “Home In Indiana,” which screens again to-night and finally on Tuesday afternoon and night. “Home In Indiana” tells its beautiful and exciting story of spirited youth, lovely women, fast- horses and proud men against the brilliantly colourful background of county fairs and the great “apple pie” country, in Technicolour. Walter Brennan is seen in the role of “Thunder” Bolt, the veteran horse trainer whose shattered dreams of glory on the Grand Circuit harness racing tracks; are revived by impetuous Sparke Thornton, played by Lon McCallister. Jeanne Crain as “Char” and June Haver as “Cri-Cri” are the rivals for Sparke’s attentions in the thrilling romance. The supporting programme to-night will include a cartoon, Cinesound and New Zealand news I'eels and a special item on Atomic Power. The bookings for to-night are heavy and the plan will be at the Theatre from 6 p.m.
