FIFTY YEARS SYNE (From the "Guardian,” Dec. 3, 1895) Church Tea Meeting—The annual tea meeting in connection with the Flemington Presbyterian Church was held on Thursday. The weather was extremely favourable and all the districts around were well represented. The tables were provided by Mesdames H. Anderson, William Anderson, Crossan and Donaldson and these were deserving of every commendation for their arduous and well performed duties. The Rev. Scorgie of Christchurch addressed the meeting after the tea, at which the Rev. Skinner presided.

TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AGO (From the "Guardian,” Dec. 3, 1920.) Male Voice Choir—The Ashburton Male Voice Choir’s concert was attened by an enthusiatic audience at St. Stephen’s schoolroom last evening. The proceeds were in aid of the St. Stephen’s bazaar fund and about £lO was raised. Probably the most enthusiastically reveived numbers were those by the Robilliard trio, assisted by Mr W. A. Foster, and the male quartette consisting of Messrs A. 8001. J. B. Christian, G. Hosken and E. Robilliard. Mr H. A. Humphreys was the conductor.
