NATIONAL SAVINGS
FIGURES FOR THE MONTH Four new notional savings accounts were opened in Ashburton last November, bringing the total to 3558. This represents 24.6 per cent, of the population. Deposits last month totalled £2250, increasing the total invested since the eompaign opened to £220,967. Bonds to the value of £7O were sold, bringing the total to £83,503.
